Welcome to the website for Nikki Tait, a printmaker working in London and west Cork. Many of her images are derived from wood blocks – either woodcuts, which are made by cutting along the plank of a piece of wood, or wood engravings, where very small marks are made on the highly-polished end-grain of a very hard wood (such as boxwood).
